First Investment Bank AD (Fibank) provides you with the opportunity to purchase and sell dematerialized (digital) gold through opening “Gold Account”. Online by using "My Fibank" electronic banking or in an office of the Bank, daily transactions are fast, easy and convenient.

“Gold account” is opened in dematerialized (digital) gold - XAU (1 XAU = 1 troy ounce of gold), and the purchase and sale is made through transactions between the "Gold Account" and your current account in Fibank.

  • It allows you to freely plan with what amount of your funds and at what time you want to buy XAU, as well as at what point to sell part or all of the stock on your "Gold Account", according to the current dynamics of the XAU price against Bulgariab lev (BGN), the Euro (EUR) or the US dollar (USD);
  • You can invest in dematerialized gold safely and securely without the risk of physical loss, damage or theft.
  • You have the opportunity to invest small amounts - min. 0.01 XAU.

To make purchases and sales of dematerialized gold through "Gold Account" it is necessary to have an open current account with Fibank in one of the following currencies - in BGN, EUR or USD.

The Bank publishes daily at: www.fibank.bg the price of gold announced by the Bulgarian National Bank, as well as the exchange rate of Fibank buy/sell rate of XAU to BGN, EUR and USD.

The balances on Gold Account are not guaranteed by the Bulgarian Deposit Insurance Fund (BDIF), established and operating in the Republic of Bulgaria, according to the Bank Deposit Insurance Act, and are not subject to compensation by the Fund for compensation of investors under the Public Offering of Securities Act (POSA).

Risks related to trading in dematerialized gold – dematerialized gold transactions bind the client to the achieved financial result (profit or loss), which depends on the movement of the price of gold. It is characterized by the probability of both increase and decrease, as a result of market factors over which neither the Bank nor the client have influence and control.
