After January 1, 2026, debit and credit cards issued by Fibank will remain active and valid until their expiration date, and may be used for payments and cash withdrawals in the usual manner.

From January 1, 2026, card payment transactions under Art. 4 of the Payment Services and Payment Systems Act, that were initiated in BGN before the date of introduction of the euro and will be completed on January 1, 2026 or thereafter, will be executed in euro. The EUR amount will correspond to the BGN amount, converted at the official exchange rate in accordance with the rules for conversion and rounding.
