Fibank and University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship launched Master's program in Bank management and investment

Entrepreneurship provides practical skills in various areas such as:

  • organization and management of the banking business;
  • providing full banking services to different market segments;
  • management of financial risks and distressed assets, banking and financial systems, electronic exchanges, alternative investments, international financial organizations.

The new Master's degree program will guarantee an economic education of the highest quality and practical focus, thanks to:
- education based on real business cases and absorption of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the practice of banking and finance sector;
- interactive and results-driven approach to teaching;
- sharing knowledge and experience between participants and creating sustainable professional contacts by working in group projects and real work situations;
- lecturers practitioners - proven experts, including those with extensive experience in the real banking business in one of the largest banks in Bulgaria - Fibank.
In Bank Management and Investment Program will teach the well known names from academic sector: Assoc. Prof. Daniela Bobeva, Assoc. Prof. Virginia Zhelyazkova, Mr. Manu Moravenov, and Mr. Bozidar Arshinkov.
To the members of academic faculty shall join also experienced professionals from the team of First Investment Bank: Dr. Valentina Grigorova-Gencheva - Director "Gold and Numismatics", Rositsa Toneva - Director "Human Capital Management", Chavdar Zlatev - Director "Corporate Banking", Ivaylo Ivanov - Director "Distressed Assets", Theodore Petrov - Director "Card Payments", Doctor of Historic Sciences Ilya Prokopov - Chief specialist "Gold and Numismatics", Emiliya Dimitrova - Manager "Retail Banking", Aleksandar Todorov - Chief specialist "Development of the УЧК". The Master's degree program is suitable for both economists and people without economic education. The ducation for economists lasts two semesters, and for non-economists it is three semesters, where the first semester is a preliminary and may be conducted remotely.
For the Bank Management and Investment Master's degree Program can apply graduates with Bachelor's or Master's degree, with total result "Good" or higher.
There are two stages of ranking: the first one is ranking based on diploma, and the second one - ranking based on interview.
