Fibank A newly established prize - Bank of the Customer, was presented for the first time. The prize went to First Investment Bank, which won the votes of the business elite (the Association of Foreign Investors (BIBA), the Employers Union and Business Leaders Forum), as well as the readers of PARI newspaper.
It is the first time that a Bulgarian president presented a prize for best performance among banks. On 25th June 2003, at an official ceremony in the Hilton hotel in Sofia, The PARI newspaper gathered for the sixth time the political and financial elite of the country on the occasion of presenting the Bank of The Year award for 2002. The Chairman of the Parliament, ministers, politicians, bankers and distinguished businessmen attended and congratulated the winners.
