Fibank For the fifth time, Fibank (First Investment Bank) received the "Golden Heart" award for its corporate social responsibility. The recognition was awarded for the consistent policy of the Bank in 2020. On behalf of Fibank, the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board, Mr. Nikola Bakalov, received the award.
In 2020, Fibank was the first bank in Bulgaria to give its customers the opportunity to defer loans and was among the first institutions to join the Program for granting interest-free loans. The Bank offered customers new services through digital banking – without the need to visit office and by provising a special package of free digital services that motivated customers to bank online. In response to the growing anxiety in the first weeks of the start of the pandemic in the country, Fibank joined the donation campaign in the fight against the Coronavirus by donating 1,000 free tests for COVID 19. A page was created on the Bank's corporate website where customers can find complete information related to the actions taken in relation to COVID 19.
In the "Green Planet" category, MyFin digital wallet, which is owned by Fibank, ranked second. The company was awarded for supporting the cause of less harmful emissions and environmental protection through the implementation of various ecological initiatives.
The “Golden Heart” awards recognize the efforts of companies and individuals who have contributed the most through funds and time to a specific cause in Bulgaria.
