Fibank On the Football Player of the Year Award ceremony held at the Kempinski Hotel Zografski on December 27 which was again sponsored by First Investment Bank, Mrs. Maya Georgieva, Executive Director of FIBank awarded the three top football players with unique gold coins crafted by the New Zealand Mint.
Blagoy Georgiev received a “Kiwi” investment gold coin of ¼ ounce with the national bird of New Zealand – the kiwi, placed in a special hand-made box of rare aromatic New Zealand wood. Georgi Petkov received two gold coins in a casket (1/4 and 1/25 ounce with the hallmark 999,9) with images of the legendary ship “Bounty”, and Dimitar Berbatov was awarded the first prize – 2 gold (1/4 and 1/25 ounce with the hallmark 999,9) and one silver coin of one ounce with partial gold plate – from the “Bounty” collection set. The set of coins, devoted to the legendary ship “Bounty” consists of only 1000 items crafted by the New Zealand Mint, which are in circulation in the whole world. In each casket there is a sextant – the ancient navigation device used by the sailors. Mrs. Georgieva wished the captain of our national football team to lead his team to future victories, just like the captains have skillfully navigated their crews and ships.
