Fibank added a new service "Telephone banking" and a mobile version of the Virtual Banking Branch to its distance banking set of services. The telephone banking allows the bank clients to order money transfers, to negotiate rates and to buy foreign currency with one phone call. Furthermore, they can make and inquiries about the balance of their accounts, the last five transactions made and the exchange rates.
The mobile version of the Virtual Banking Branch allows the owners of smart phones to make banking transactions and to have their money, without having to visit a bank office.
Fibank offers promotional terms for the use of the services in the days up to 30.07.2011. During this period all the clients can register for free for the service "Telephone banking", as they will be able to make free intra-bank transactions in leva and foreign currency, as well as interbank only in leva. For the operation with both services a purchase of Token device is needed – its price for the promotional period is only 20 lv.
