Fibank starts lending under the JEREMIE

The Bank will provide loans at interest rates more than twice lower than market levels

Fibank (First Investment Bank) began lending at preferential terms under the JEREMIE Programme. The initiative is entirely focused on financing for small and medium enterprises, and the interest rates will be more than twice lower than market levels - between 3% and 4.5%.

At the beginning of the year, Fibank (First Investment Bank) signed an agreement with the European Investment Fund (EIF) under the JEREMIE Programme, which provides funding in support of Bulgarian companies.

The loans granted under the JEREMIE Programme are intended for investment and working capital funds for a period between 12 months and 10 years. Fibank (First Investment Bank) offers the companies a grace period of 24 months, with no commitment fee and commission for early repayment.

"The loans will be available for micro, small and medium enterprises from different sectors of the Bulgarian economy with few exceptions, and the funds will be allocated according to their needs and planned investments over the next two years", said Gergana Pramatarova, Director of "External Partners, EU Programs and Correspondent Relations" at Fibank (First Investment Bank).

From lending under this program shall benefit the representatives of the Fisheries and Aquaculture, Agriculture and Coal Output sectors and there are partial restrictions for the Transport sector and the processing and trade in agricultural production.
