Fibank On January 26, 2011 from 11 am, at the building of First Investment Bank, City of Sofia, 37, Dragan Tsankov Blvd., a ceremony shall be held on renewing the contract between the Bulgarian Olympic Committee and First Investment Bank. This way shall be extended the five-year partnership that helps the Bulgarian Olympic Committee to carry out its core program.
In recent years, Fibank has established itself as the most important partner of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee - a fact that has a very strong response among sports circles in our country.
Fibank supported the Bulgarian Olympic Committee for the participation of Bulgarian athletes in the first Winter Youth Olympics Innsbruck 2012 and the Olympic Games in London in 2012. Further the bank shall continue to support the training of young talents to participate in the European Youth Olympic festivals and sporting events in Bulgaria. Part of the activities that the Bank shall continue to promote are the organization of the International Olympic Day, the National Olympic Academy and the competitions "Sports for All". The agreement shall support the organization of scientific conferences, art exhibitions, educational initiatives and competitions on sports themes, as well as some social programs of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee.
Fibank is the bank which traditionally sends with talisman-lions the national Olympic delegations to major sporting events and always guarantees with its financial support the special cash bonuses of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee for significant Bulgarian achievements at the Olympic Games and festivals. However, the Bulgarian sports stars turned into tradition the awarding of special shirts with their autographs given at the Olympic villages which after that are placed as priceless souvenirs in the offices of the Bank across the country.
With the renewal of the contract the Bank shall continue to support the organization of sports activities and events of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee for the period 2011 - 2012.
From Bulgarian Olympic Committee’ side the contract shall be signed by the President Stefka Kostadinova, and from the Bank’s side from Jordan Skorchev and Maya Georgieva - Executive Directors of the financial institution.
