Fibank First Investment Bank (Fibank) will continue its long-term support for the Bulgarian Athletics Federation (BAF) in 2014. The support is in line with the long-standing tradition of the bank to support Bulgarian sports and is a part of our corporate social responsibility.
Today in the offices of the Bank at 81D Bulgaria Blvd the Chairman of the Bulgarian Athletics Federation, Mr. Dobromir Karamarinov announced the winner of the prestigious "Bulgarian Athlete No.1 for 2013” award. The winner is Geogi Ivanov (shot put), who received a Year of the Horse Silver Coin by the Executive Director of Fibank, Mr. Vassil Christov.
The Chairman of BAF thanked Fibank for the continuing support and presented the Executive Director of the bank with a unique "No. 1" competitor number of the new freshly printed series of race numbers of the Bulgarian Athletics Federation for 2014.
Mr. Vassil Christov, the Executive Director of Fibank, commented on the occasion: For 4 years now the bank is the primary sponsor of the Bulgarian Athletics Federation.
