Fibank On September 4, 2015 Fibank (First Investment Bank) officials attended the Berlin Banking Conference organized by the Bank’s German partners, SavingGlobal. The topic of the Conference was Connecting Financial Markets - European Banking Prospects.
Speakers included:
- Professor Doctor Sascha Stefen, Finance Professor at the European School of Management and Technology);
- Doctor Eckart Windhagen, CEO of McKinsey&Co;
- Doctor Bettina Orlop, Director at Commerzbank.
The delegates at the conference reviewed and discussed topics such as banking growth possibilities in the digital world, the advent of fintech companies and their interactions with banks, and the role of the European Banking Union and its significance for economic growth.
Fibank was the only Bulgarian bank represented at the Conference.
Representing Fibank were Mrs. Maya Georgieva, Vice President of the Supervisory Board and Mrs. Minka Mihaylova, Director of Methodology.
