Fibank On June 4 at 7.00 PM the Gallery of Modern Art hosted a charity cocktail party dedicated to the art of Damien Hirst. The event was organized by Fibank (First Investment Bank) and FiHealth Medical Centers with the kind support of Domaine Boyar who provided the Next 20 Years Chardonnay Brut 2010 Bulgarian sparkling wine for the party.
Doctors working at FiHealth Medical Centers painted 12 interpretations of Damien Hirst's work featuring the butterfly as a typical subject matter of his art.
All the paintings were sold to guests of the event and the proceeds will go to the charitable initiative Masked Little Hands Tell Stories... in the village of Burdarski Geran.
The Masked Little Hands Tell Stories... charitable initiative is dedicated to the establishment of a puppet theater where kids from the Family Type Housing Center for Children and other kids from the village can put on performances together.
We chose this initiative in conjunction with the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF), our long-standing partner in social projects such as this. In 2005, First Investment Bank and WCIF established the first hedge fund managed by a foundation in Bulgaria.
