Universal Electronic Signature (UES)

The universal electronic signature (UES) is a method of electronic identification of individuals and corporate clients.

By using an electronic signature you can certify your consent with the text of the electronic document and protect it from subsequent changes and tampering. In effect UES is validates electronic documents the same way your personal signature validates printed documents.

How to use the universal electronic signature for banking?

In order to sign electronic documents by your UES you need a UES certificate, media (smart card or reader), special smart-card management software and software for signing e-documents. Then you will have to install the universal electronic signature in accordance with the respective instructions.

What types of universal electronic signatures are acceptable to Fibank?

The bank accepts electronic signatures from all licensed issuers on the territory of Bulgaria (Borica-BankService AD, Information Services AD, InfoNotary EAD, Spectar AD, and SEP Bulgaria AD).
