Portfolio guarantee by the National Guarantee Fund EAD intended for partial security of loans and guarantees granted by the Bank to SME

Fibank signed an Agreement with the National Guarantee Fund EAD  for issuance of portfolio guarantee at the amount of 10 million BGN for securing loans and guarantees granted by Fibank to small and medium-sized enterprises.


Parameters:

Borrowers:
  • micro, small or medium-sized enterprises under the meaning of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Act;
  • registered in the Republic of Bulgaria legal entities or sole proprietors; start-up enterprises and companies with actual operation exceeding 1 year;
  • priority shall be given to companies applying for or signed an Investment Financing Agreement under any operational program and funds of Republic of Bulgaria and the European Union;
  • companies carrying out export business or with proved management and/or staff capacity for performing foreign trade activity, subject to the requirements for providing sufficient by type and quality security.
Type of guaranteed loans:
  • investment loan;
  • working capital loan
  • guarantees.
Currency:
  • BGN;
  • EUR.
Amount: no limitation
Percentage of guarantee coverage:

up to 50% of the amount of the loan principal, but:

  • up to 500 000 BGN for investment working capital loans.
Term:
  • up to 15 years for investment loans;
  • up to 3 г. for working capital loans.
Guarantee term:
  • up to 10 years for investment loans;
  • up to 2 years for working capital loans.
Amount of own project investments: minimum 5%
