Depository and Trust Services

Depository services are treasury financial instruments and administrative activities such as: opening and maintaining accounts for financial instruments, issuing certification documents to the holders of financial instruments, transferring financial instruments etc.

Being a member of the Central Depository AD, First Investment Bank offers to individuals and legal entities, including institutional investors, the following depository services:

  • Opening a client’s account for financial instruments in the FIB register with the Central Depository AD;
  • Issuing depository receipts;
  • The transfer of financial instruments from the client's own account to the client’s account in the FIB register with the Central Depository;
  • The transfer of financial instruments from the client’s account in the FIB register with the Central Depository to the client’s account with another investment intermediary.

First Investment Bank offers other depository services including trust services for financial instruments (exercising the rights on them) depending on specific arrangements with the client.

Other investment services

Tender offering

Tender offering is a proposal by a shareholder to the other voting shareholders in a joint stock company to purchase or exchange shares based at a fixed market price. Tender offering is carried out if the person acquires directly or through connected entities more than 50 percent of votes in the general assembly of a joint stock company.  

First Investment Bank renders services related to the preparation, submission and publication of tender offering for the purchase and/or exchange of shares to the other shareholders in a joint stock company, according to the Bank Tariff and only at the FIBank central office.

Preparing of prospectuses

The investment prospectus is a document containing all the information that allows investors to make a precise assessment of the economic and financial state of affairs, assets and liabilities, financial results and development prospects of the issuer whose financial instruments are publicly offered or allowed for trading on a regulated market.

The prospectus cannot contain untrue, misleading or incomplete data.

First Investment Bank prepares prospectuses for the primary and secondary public offering of shares, as well as prospectuses for the public offering of bonds and other financial instruments.

Prospectuses for the public offering of financial instruments are prepared in the First Investment Bank central office.
