VISA Electron is an international debit card with no requirement for a minimum blocked account balance. With this card you can withdraw cash from more than 800 000 ATMs in Bulgaria and abroad, you can shop and make payments in more than 24 million restaurants, hotels, stores, etc., and, as well as make payments on Internet sites where this card type is accepted.

VISA Electron Business Debit Card is an international debit card. Each transaction with VISA Electron is finalised only after electronic authorisation of the available account balance, regardless of whether you pay at a POS terminal or you withdraw cash from an ATM. This does not allow the use of a sum greater than that deposited in the company account.

Company employees can withdraw cash whenever they wish. The company manager can set the daily limit on company cards so that each employee has a sufficient daily allowance.

The VISA Electron corporate card and the cardholder's signature are all that are needed to withdraw cash at 250,000 bank counters worldwide.

Card Currency

The company manager can choose the currency of the company account/s according to the company's income or the predominant area of foreign travel. The Bank will open a company account/s in leva, US dollars, Euro, or Swiss francs for you, and card limits will be in the same currency.

Security of Card transactions

Transactions made with the corporate VISA Electron are totally secure electronic operations at POS and ATM terminals with 100% authorization by the issuing bank. Cardholder check-up is carried out via signature or PIN-code.

In order to ensure the company card's security, each cardholder should keep their PIN-code inaccessible to third parties. The PIN-code may be changed free of charge at any ATM within Bulgaria.

Card Types:

  • Corporate (Manager) - Issued with full access rights for ATM withdrawal, goods and services payment, online payment, access to the account balance at an ATM.
  • Corporate (Supplementary) - Issued to company employees, to the company's account and at the order of the account holder company. The company sets the parameters of the supplementary cards and monitors the transactions carried out through them, as well as the company's account activity. All Bulgarian citizens or persons with a document for permanent residence of lawful age are entitled to become cardholders of a supplementary VISA Electron card.
